Common questions.
Is Treedy a bank?
No. Treedy is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services are provided by partner banks.
Does Treedy move money without permission?
No. Treedy only moves money with user authorization.
How does Treedy make money?
Treedy offers free tools and paid automation. On the Automatic plan, Treedy only charges a small success fee when automatic payments are successfully sent, capped monthly.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Users can pause or cancel automatic payments anytime.
What happens if my balance is too low?
Treedy uses safeguards and can skip or pause transfers when your balance is too low. These safeguards are designed to help reduce overdraft risk, but they cannot guarantee overdrafts will never happen.
Do I need to invest?
No. Users can start with debt payoff only. Investing is optional.
How do round-ups work?
Treedy rounds eligible purchases to the next dollar and adds the spare change to your weekly progress. A $3.80 coffee creates a $0.20 round-up.
Can Treedy find subscriptions?
Treedy can help identify recurring subscriptions and bills so you can cancel what you no longer use and redirect that money toward debt.
